Overview:

Database may be a collection of objects like table, view, stored procedure, function, trigger, etc.

There are 2 types of MS SQL Server Databases:
• System databases
• User Databases

System Databases

System databases are created automatically once we install MS SQL Server. Following are the list of system databases −
• Master
• Model
• MSDB
• Temp dB
• Resource (Introduced in 2005 version)
• Distribution (It’s for Replication feature only)
